BusinessObjects-Install Business Objects R2 to Windows 2008

If you want to install Business Objects R2 to Windows 2008 you will get the error mesaage "can't start service Event Server". Ignore this message and continue to your installation(for each service). After finishing restart your server. Open CMC console. You will see that all of your services are stopped.


Ok, right click on each service which you want to use. Go to the dependency tab. You will see that the NTLMSSP service is red. Select that service and remove. Now you can start your service.


The reason is that Windows 2008 no longer uses NTLMSSP.
